The Research Center for AI in Science & Society (RAIS2) is the central platform for pooling AI expertise at the University of Bayreuth. It serves to increase the visibility of our AI expertise and to connect researchers, developers and users of AI methods with each other. In this way, the the topic of AI should be promoted across the campus in research, education and third mission.
RAIS2 is built around six pillars related to AI and its interdisciplinary potential: AI in Technology, AI for Life Science, AI for Materials, AI for Business and Industry, AI in Society, and AI for Environmental Science.
