Researchers of the University of Bayreuth at any career stage can become members of RAIS2.
What does membership mean?
Participating in an active research network; presence on our website; where possible branding your events that thematically fit RAIS2 as (also) RAIS2 events to generate momentum and visibility.
Costs?
There is a minimal membership fee of 100€ p.a. for full professors.
Procedure:
Send a message to rais2@uni-bayreuth.de indicating you want to become a member.
Please include:
- 2-3 sentences describing your research interests (both in German and English!), and how they connect to AI and ML methods
- a link to your website or lab homepage
- indicate which pillar you’d like to be (mainly) associated with
- state your status group (full professor or junior researcher)
- indicate your intended donations
The executive board will approve the applications.
What happens then?
Once you’re a member we’ll publish your name and description on the RAIS2 website and add you to our mailing list.
What if I do not want to be a member?
You can still subscribe to our events mailing list and are welcome to contact us if you have fitting events you’d like to advertise and brand with RAIS2.
