The Research Center for AI in Science & Society (RAIS²) at the University of Bayreuth combines scientific excellence with social responsibility. We explore the opportunities and challenges of artificial intelligence in all its facets—from the fundamentals of mathematics and computer science to applications in the life, material, and environmental sciences to questions of economics, ethics, and society.
